Our Founder and Master Trainer
Carmen Elena Nixon - a passionate and dedicated dog trainer with over a decade of experience helping dogs and their owners achieve their training goals.
Originally from San Salvador, El Salvador, Carmen pursued her dream of becoming a dog trainer in 2012 and studying at the Highland Canine School for Dog Trainers in North Carolina.
As a graduate of their Master Trainer program, Carmen learned the ins and outs of training service dogs, behavior modification, teaching basic obedience, and even working with dogs in search and rescue and police K9 settings. Her skills and experience have earned her a reputation as a compassionate and skilled trainer who truly cares about the well-being of every dog she works with.
Carmen's journey doesn't stop there - before becoming a dog trainer, she spent eight years working at a veterinary clinic. This unique perspective on canine health and wellness has given her an even deeper understanding of how to help dogs and their owners thrive.
